Introduction
On the joyous occasion of our “Royal Wedding” the
family of Tarphel CPS would like to take this opportunity to express our voices
of feelings through this book of magazine.
The first ever published in the reign of twenty
three years coinciding with royal wedding, the magazine shall ever remain and
begin a journey of yet another milestone. It is indeed a grateful thoughts our
little futures and our faculty members at a far corner of our country.
Everybody was enthusiastic and exaggerated to
express with great excitements. Little authors running from posts to pillars
and vice versa in search of words of their dreams. Children knitting their
ideas and framing, teachers were busy engrossed in making their ways to ink
their joyous moment and nevertheless, our caretaker, Mr. Lhakpa making vows to
at least send one his articles to the kuensel’s column. Apart from expressing
our joys, we would also like to take this platform to pray for our king and the
queen:
May
their nuptial knot continue like the never ending river.
May
their life live for eternity with peace and prosperity.
May
their wishes and dreams always come true.
An old maxim says, “There was never a cloud where
the sun did not shine through.” Until this day our country too had its own
turmoil and resolution and we too hope , wish and pray for a successful Bhutan
under our wise king and the taming queen in the years to come.
“May our country be showered with all those good
blessings.” We have had always dreamt of a queen for our mighty king and now
that he has it. It is our utmost pleasure and we would like to celebrate this
day to the fullest.

Crowned, a King is Wed
It was 21st February 1980; a
year yet to began;

Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk-A king to
be was born; A benevolent one.
Principal
The mighty king, “Jigme Singye Wangchuk”
then had a crown prince for a glorious lineage.
Anticipatory and not tyrant; signatory
and oratory; intellectual and brilliant; - grew like blooming flower down to
earth: - drove his voyage till the end of December 2006.
Hence, the prince is grown and now to be
crowned…
The sun gazed, rainbows shone, birds
listened, and the nation filled with joy – A king is crowned.
2008 was the year; symbolizing the three
jewels…
One hundred years of Monarch, the 1st
ever parliamentary democracy and the king being crowned- 5th
hereditary.
Time weaved with the compassionate age…
A bride was found- A queen to be;
gorgeous, lovely, generous, diligent, and dedicated…
Queen of fate filled with faith,
Born to a noble family of pangteng and
Rongthung…
Flare and fame- the then Dzongpon
Dopola;
The one who even built a stone guest
house far away,
-Up in the Snow Mountains’ pilgrimage-

Wedding celebration is
a happy event and there are lots of fun, joy and entertainment during the
celebration. Everyone seems to be very happy during the celebration,
particularly the wedding couple as it is the beginning of their new life. There
are lots of things involved in the wedding and the most important thing is all
the things should be happening at the right time. So, it is wise to plan the
wedding.
Is the land of the
thunder Dragon two brightest stares seem to twinkle to brighten the land of
Druk- Yul. Uniquely beautiful and graceful, the queen “Jetsun Pema” is much
experienced, faithful and hardworking. Definitely, she is going to make all the
people of Bhutan proud and happy as a queen. This day, “13th
October” will be the greatest historic occasion for the people of Bhutan and it
is the time for all the Bhutanese to have fun and joy the most beautiful couple
shall be blessed by the god and with much hope and aspiration from the people
in and around the world.
It is the most awaited
moment on the auspicious day to express the joy upon the Royal Couple (His
majesty the king Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk and her majesty Ashi Jetsun Pema
Wangchuk). From the day when his majesty decided to have the queen, we were
very happy and form that day we had been planning to celebrate this auspicious
day. We the staff and the students of Tarphel CPS are very delighted for the
announcement of the historic occasion and would like to sincerely express our
joy on this Royal Wedding.
I am very glad to see
two of them getting married and I have nothing to offer but through my words, I
will be praying for them a happy married life and prosperous life. We pray the
Royal couple be blessed, may they bring more happiness for all of us. We hope
that the Royal couple will live an eternal life.
My Thoughts

In my life I
have seen many couple getting married but I have never rejoiced the Royal
Wedding so far. It’s a great pleasure and an opportunity for me and the entire
people of Bhutan to witness the Royal Wedding on 13th October this
year.
I am very proud
and I just can’t sleep thinking about the Royal Wedding celebration-The
nationwide celebration in our country. In additional to that, everywhere I go,
people are very much excited and filled
with happiness to see and enjoy the big celebration- The Royal Wedding.
People are
blessed and they say that Jetsun Pema is a heavenly sent angel to the king, to
the country, and to the people to bring peace and sunshine in our country. When
I close my eyes and I see brighter days ahead and wishes of the people being
fulfilled. In fact, I had a vision people of Bhutan and made them proud all the
time. Moreover, she could make a great difference inside and outside the
country like any other great leaders.
May she
tirelessly divide her time for the benefit of all mankind with endless love and
kindness. Finally, I pray for everlasting union, strength, and love between the
king and the queen.

The right time has come
to sow the seed and enjoy the fragrances of the blooming flowers. Till date,
the announcement of the Royal wedding on 7th session of the National
Assembly on 20th may, 2011. I was lost in dreaming of the Royal
Wedding with lots of worries and sentiments in me with numerous reasons behind.
Reason, my true love
and tender care for our king, country and the people (TSA-WA-SUM) is really
immeasurable and the Royal bride is the one who will be the first important
person to help our King to rule out so far peaceful country.
And now my worries are
all dissolved and it has been filled with unforgettable and immeasurable joy. I
am also very much pleased, because my thirst of discovering our future queen
with ten good qualities has been discovered by our King Jigme Kheser Namgyal
Wangchuk, namely Queen JETSUN PEMA.
And moreover, I am very
much contented with everything that our future queen posses; good historic
anecdote, altruistic, the qualification, the simplicity, and so on. Now you are
our angle, apparel, artifact, the most important asset and many more. All in
all I am very much pleased and quenched with all the good attributes that you
possess.
Lastly, my heartfelt
gratitude for my fifth king for being able to choose the best angle among the
bests which is indeed a herculean job, especially for the country leader. My
true prayers are always with my queen to shine her beam of altruism to all the
citizens of the Pelden Drukpa.
